Yesterday morning I didn't have a project so I was making a schedule for our adventures next week when Dave, one of the country directors, came in and said "today is going to be my day for bonding with Andrea." He's from Kent, Washington and loves the northwest so he was really excited to talk to me. We cleaned off the porches and then went out to eat. It was really interesting talking to him actually because we were talking about how a lot of mormons get married young and he was saying he's an outlier because he actually wants to finish grad school and travel before he gets tied down. It's always interesting talking about how different people are in Utah and hearing stories about peoples' friends at home. After lunch we somehow got on the subject of Thai massages and when I told him I hadn't gotten one yet he said "What! We're going!" So we went to this place where we change into really loose fitting clothes and they bend you into weird positions and rub you with their hands, elbows and their feet. The first part I was laying on my back trying so hard not to laugh because my legs and calves are so freaking ticklish. The next part I was on my stomach and she was digging her elbows so hard into my back I was just wincing the whole time. The last part I was sitting up and she rubbed my head and my back which was actually awesome. I left there feeling more sore than when I came in though. After that we had a soccer game to get to! All the volunteers here vs. the 6th grade soccer team at one of the schools we teach at. I've never played soccer before and it was raining AND I was playing in Chacos but..it was so fun! We were all really horrible and the boys we were up against were so good. At first I was scared to hurt them but the second half I was charging them and I fell on kids so many times. We ended up losing 3-2 which should be embarassing but was actually pretty good considering how horrible most of us were. It made me want to play team sports again.

Today I went to the hospital to look at a "macrobiology lab" which turned out to be bascially a kitchen where they were cutting up lettuce and stuff. I didn't really get anything out of it since she was talking in Thai. Then they asked me to go back to the room I helped decorate a few days ago and decorate more. It was such tedious work cutting out leaves and flowerw but I think it looks pretty sensationa

l now if I do say so myself. I'll post a picture. Oh and it was super random. There were music videos on in the hospital and one came on...in Danish. With the Danish words scrolling across the screen so I was translating it for everyone. Life is so funny sometimes.
So excited for tomorrow! The agenda is: learn how to drive a manual moto, ride elephants, and...ride ostriches...yee.
