Well we did it. We got up before the sun and made the journey over to the big Buddha overlooking the city of Phuket for the sunrise. It was so serene and we also got blessed by a monk who gave us bracelets and then tapped our head with a twig thing and said "happy happy and good luck." He also gave us some ramen and water along with a small book on Buddhism. After dawn broke we took a flight back to Chiang Mai (no awesome people sitting next to me this time :[ bummer) and then a bus to Chiang Rai. We've kind of just been chilling tonight and cleaning up some dead stuff off our back porch. Welcome home.
i can just imagine you talking in that little "itschabeeee" voice to monks hahahaha.
